| Rayne Today Searching for dharma, in spite of the weather... The chickens came home And roost they will!!! Mark this date down: 24-January-2001. I haven't yet gone and compared the notes on Cheney's energy records that he fought to keep private; I'll bet you there's some interesting stuff in them from January 2001. Cluck! 11:43:29 PM
It was Spring here today. It won’t be on Sunday, but then that’s the way it is in There are places in this country where Spring arrives and stays until gently escorted to the door by Summer. Here, Spring is a damned tease; she’s often known for grand and tardy entrances. When she’s not late, she’s prone to changing her mind frequently as she has each week this month. She’s here today, gone tomorrow, threatening to return with her entourage in tow later this next week, or wait, no, perhaps the week after. Silly, impetuous, volatile twit. Perhaps it’s not her fault. Perhaps it’s the grande dame, Winter, who refuses to release us from her icy clutches, insisting on staying for one last reminiscence. She’s quite greedy, taking more than her share of the year here, coming to stay well in advance of the holidays and becoming an unwelcome guest by the first of February. By the time she’s left us, we are like the bruised and battered hosts of a party which should have ended at Whatever. Just make up your mind already. Spring or Winter, which is it?
Very sorry; I’ve been a bad, bad blogger. I fell asleep last night about A better blogger might have been able to squeeze in a post over the last 24 hours. Or is that a better addict?
