Fricking motherboard has gone bad on this machine.  I've been in denial about fixing it, put it off all week because of the the election.  Thought it was the blogging software but it's not; after a couple hours of diagnostics, it was pretty evident it wasn't the blog software or malware or spyware or a virus.

I'm going to have to deal with it within the next couple of days.  I have to migrate my blog data files over to the desktop and rebuild it once again -- for the second time in two weeks.

What the hell am I going to do about my blog addiction if it fails on me during the transfer?

Gah. 

Wish me luck, babes.  Tell me your horror stories about rebuilding your blog.  Might as well get all the yips out of the way.
