To do list:

• House (new) needs masonry product selected for fascia.  (Ugh.  I hate shopping.)
• Spouse needs attention.  Have to hurry through the shopping to meet him for lunch, discuss weekend planning and Christmas checklist.
• Buy a new basketball to replace the three flat ones we have that cannot be resuscitated.  (Ugh.  More shopping.)
• House (old) needs quick lick and a promise; have to get snacks prepared and gym clothes laundered  and packed for afternoon school pick-up and early basketball game as well as appropriate post-game clothing.  Make sure the little guy has stuff to keep him busy while we're at the game.
• Call parent of child with birthday party tomorrow.  Make sure card and gift are ready, that child attending has appropriate gear for skating party. (Damn, I think I need to buy new rollerblades for my little dude.  Did I mention I hate shopping?)
• Family needs attention.  Go to dinner at family-friendly restaurant.
• And celebrate my birthday.

Damn, I'm whipped and I haven't even left the house.  Why don't we just stay put and celebrate now?
