Great learning opportunity today; I attended my first state party convention. Triple-point score, too, attending as a delegate for the county, an alternate for the congressional district, and now a district director of a caucus. Sat within arm's reach of the governor, too.
Amazing how much can happen in a mere matter of weeks of political activism!
We have SO much work to do, though, in spite of all the rah-rah-go-team pep rally spirit boosting from hanging with all the other active progressives in this state.
We haven't fully wound up yet under Howard Dean's leadership; wonder what the next couple of months will bring?
I better hit the sack; I'm completely worn out after today. Better get lots of sleep and get back in form; we're going to be starting a marathon of sorts here all too soon.
