15th year in space, hard at work. What a wonderful investment of our tax dollars! We should have had a party, don't you think?

9:51:18 PM Thanks for the comment. Made me think of this piece, a favorite of mine:
This always speaks to my inner Sufi self. 4:39:53 PM If I was truly employed, today would be a manic Monday. I feel like I'm moving in slow motion, plodding along. It doesn't help that my toes and my nose are both cold. I've drunk enough hot tea today to float an ocean liner and I still can't get warm. I wonder if this is what we're really facing as we take our lumps due us for decades of pollution? Dramatic changes in weather like this, that beat us down? Fifty degrees inside 48 hours is just too much, even with adequate shelter. I can feel it in my head, all the pressure from the cold air giving me a sinus headache. Of course there's the other headache that comes with trying to locate missing boots and snowpants and hats and gloves, just after they'd all been laundered and packed away for the year and the move to the new house. It figures... I wish it would warm up again, back to those lovely 60's and even middle 70's temperatures we saw last week. But I might as well hibernate until the end of May, for all the good that wishing will do. Oh well, better luck Tuesday...tomorrow will be closer to 50 degrees, they say. 1:10:12 PM
