Google Deskbar
You probably use the Google Toolbar, now check out the Deskbar, which allows us to use Google searches without opening a browser window for it.

Moon eclipse
I had somehow missed there being a total lunar eclipse last night, so I was surprised to come out of my local pub and see the moon changing colour. It was a very fascinating sight.

New Riyadh terror attack
Saudi Arabia's capital Riyadh has been hit by a terror attack against a housing complex where many Arab non-Saudi nationals were living, killing at least ten and injuring more than a hundred, including many children. Saudi officials blame al-Qaeda.
The recent terror warnings from western governments were obviously based on credible intelligence.
