Boobies and IQ
My recent posting about the relationship between IQ and breast size in women is discussed on a message board in Estonia. Too bad I can't read what they are saying.
Obviously a topic with wide international interest.

Afghan warlords hand in heavy weapons
Two of the main feuding warlords in northern Afghanistan, Abdul Rashid Dostum and Atta Mohammed, have handed in a significant number of armoured vehicles and artillery with ammunition. President Hamid Karzai was not given much of a chance to accomplish much of a disarmament, but with a lot of persuasion skills, no doubt a good combination of sticks and carrots, the crucial first steps have been taken.
The two warlords have committed to Karzai and the central government, but remains strongly suspicious of each other.
Disarming the warlords is crucial to strengthen the central government and bring an end to civil war and unrest.

RIP Kyoto
Speaking of cities associated with failed agreements: Russia has announced it will not ratify the Kyoto Protocol on greenhouse gas emissions, which will mean the agreement will not reach critical mass necessary to go into legal effect.
"The Kyoto Protocol places significant limitations on the economic growth of Russia," presidential aide Andrei Illarionov has announced in Moscow.
The US has earlier rejected the protocol, meaning it now covers so few large "polluters" that it becomes next to meaningless to go through with it.
This will bring everybody back to square one, having to negotiate a new emission agreement. Or prepare for warmer climate, if the doomsaying scientists for the first time in history are correct in their predictions.

You positively Googled me
Oh this is rich. Somebody googled for an "objective positive view of jehovah witnesses."
You have to make up your mind, my friend. It is either objective or positive, not both.
My historical overview of the Jehovah's Witnesses' Blood prohibition is more the former than the latter.
