Prison inmate feared missing after tsunami When Englishman Steven Doogue had to spend three months in prison, he told all his family, friends and his collegues that he would be going on a three month vacation. Where did he say he was going? Phuket, Thailand. "Mark Doogue was believed to be on holiday in Thailand when the tsunami occurred and his family were concerned for his wellbeing. "Mark was not in Thailand at the time of the tsunami as was originally thought, and was therefore not affected by it." Well, he was affected by it in one way, as he'll have a bit of explaining to do, to quite a few people. I guess we can't really blame him for the little lie. 6:11:10 AM    comment []  trackback []

Principal bans dancing A high school principal is so shocked by suggestive dancing he has cancelled all dances for the rest of the school year, including the proms. Principal Jim Bennett of Lemoore Union High School said he warned students at a winter formal dance last month to either quit dirty dancing or face the possibility of not dancing at all. But he said the students continued "freak dancing," a form of sexually suggestive dancing that involves grinding the hips and pelvic area. The ban on dances includes the school's Sadie Hawkins dance in February and the junior and senior proms in the spring, but Bennett said they could be rescheduled if students modify their behavior.
