Referee attacked players with axe After sustaining abuse from players in a London five-a-side football (soccer) tournament, the man in black suddenly snapped. He left the field, just to come back with a long axe, starting to chase the players around with it. A witness said "The ref was like Conan the Barbarian." Nobody was injured, but the game was cancelled. The referee is banned from the five-a-side league. Rayne sent me this link, having for some reason thought about me while reading the story. Hopefully it was the reference to football, which I occasionally mention here, and not the use of an axe that reminded her of me. 3:33:50 AM    comment []
