Daypop stats
I just discovered (late, I know) the Daypop statistics page, and since I'm a sucker for all statistics about my blog, I had to take a look.
Interestimgly, of all 29,671 blogs it knows about, the one most similar to my own "based on Topic and Content" is Kriselda's Different Strings, just across the street from me, so to say, and a longtime favourite read.

Words that rhyme with blog
Xtian at Radio Free Blogistan has written a great poem (or song lyrics) about blogging, one of the first I have ever seen: The day the blogging died.
It also contains lots of useful links for bloggers from a guy who's been doing it longer than most of us.
With a filler thread from a jaded poster
Daypop Top and fallin' fast
And, indeed, this poem put xtian on the Daypop top 40 list!

Big Blue strikes back
SCOs absurd anti-Linux lawsuit, directed at IBM but with wide implications for the industry, has succeeded in getting the attention of the computer giant. IBM has launched a serious counter-suit, accusing SCO of baseless claims that has caused serious damage to IBM and the open source community. SCO is now facing an army of lawyers who seriously want to bring it down. Nobody will miss SCO if they go down, as they have succeeded in bypassing Microsoft on the most-hated list in the computer industry by a wide margin.
