Google apologises for offensive search result As I have noted earlier, if you google for 'jew,' you get an offensive anti-semitic page on the first page (it used to be #1). Blogs like this had a campaign to push the wikipedia article on 'Jew' to the top, and that was successful. Still, the offensive result is on the front page. Google has now "paid for" an advertisment on the top of the result page for that search, labeled "offensive search results" and linking to an explanation for the offensive result.
