REAL LIFE TOP FIVE

1. Simon and Garfunkle, "Sound of Silence", The Grammys - For a show critical of Peace Mongering, this was certainly Most Ironic Moment Ever. It was almost creepy how relevant the lyrics seem now and S&G earned their big "I told you so" faces.

2. Frenchie Davis, ET Television - This is the fat black chick who got booted from American Idol. She was a "Special Correspondent" for the Grammys and sang "I'm Not Going" at the end. Damn. This girl sings like you have no idea. Goose bumps good.

3. Dolly Parton, "Stairway to Heaven" - Yes, that "Stairway to Heaven". Bluegrass gospel including choir. Music to have supper by.

4. The Avalanches, "Close To You" - Orgasmic frenzy. "The disco man that's going round, turning the junk upside down..." Or something. Just shut up and dance.

5. Faith Hill, The Grammys - Only because she looked like a coked-up Farrah Fawcett playing a hooker/lounge singer. Thanks for showing us the Carpet doesn't match the Drapes. Calling Liza Minelli.
