EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

You know that feeling where Someone you know well (and see often) but not real well invites you somewhere and you think to yourself, “Self, do they really mean this?” Then later you think about calling this Someone. Like a TEST! If they sound happy to hear me you and want to talk, then maybe they really meant that invitation! Psych! However, if they’re like, “LA LA LA” and all... then you’re just making Shit up. You may even wonder “Why am I making Shit up?” Good question. So you don’t call at all.

Then that feeling where you wish they’d call YOU (which they never have, so it’s totally illogical they would now). Exactly! If they called anyway, you’d know they liked you and really meant that invite! Ah - HA! The Test. Your World View lurches into some Fantasy World where “giddy wishes” and “fairy dreams” rule the Universe. *Sigh*.

Uh huh. Right.

Yeah, me too. What’s that feeling called?
