Ugh... don't even know where to begin here. About a year ago, I opened a second checking account when "The EX" and I split. Just a checking account right?

Sunday, while dining at the-not-so-Italian Olive Garden, I was humiliated to no end when my MasterCard was declined. The words still echo in my brain... "Your card... has been... DECLINED." Yes, it really like is that American Express commercial... You see, my MasterCard goes directly out of my checking account, and I deposited my paycheck the Friday before. Monday was a holiday, so had to wait until this morning to contact my bank and clear matters up. No big deal, right? WRONG!!!!

Turns out, they screwed up, never posted my paycheck. Ohhhh, but it gets worse. You see, I wasn't born with a guardian angel like the rest of you lucky folks, but the bad luck fairy on the rag suffering from a bad hair day. Turns out, the dipshit that set-up my account a year ago, gave me a "Money Marketing Account" on accident. Sooooo... I was only allowed 3 checks a month. Anything over that, and you are gouged in fees. At the time I opened that account, was in the middle of a divorce, 2 parents in the hospital, then mother passed away, so to be blunt, I never bothered to open my check statements.  Then, it got to be a very bad habit. Live and learn, the hard way.

The clincher - turns out, I have paid over $1,500 in bank fees since January 20, 2002. Yes, that is right. That doesn't include bounced check fees I never realized that I incurred. Yes folks... fifteen-hundred-fucking-dollars and then some.

Good news, they are giving me every red cent back. Fucktards. (BTW - fucktard is my new favorite word. I will be using it repeatedly.)

My nerves are shot. Have any more bad news for me to wreck my entire day, then last minute say "Oh, wait, it's all good!" Argh!
