Cats and Muddy Rivers

Last night the dream world pretty much sucked. But one part was so interesting... I dreamed I was back in Florida, maybe about a year or so ago. I came home one day and my yard was filled with cats. Long haired fluffy Persian ones, white and cream, and a gray one that gave birth to scads of tiny soft black kittens. The gray one looked at me and then we made eye contact. She said so many things to me... by looking into my eyes. The cats were outside and starting to get scruffy, so I gave them all flea baths and brought them into the house, poor little things. The Persian types, they aren’t meant to be outdoors… they are fragile.

Then Emma and I decided to move, and away we went… far north and we went on foot. There were steep hills now, so I knew I wasn’t in Florida anymore, because Florida is flat. It was Autumn and I could see the leaves change into beautiful red and orange hues. And nestled behind a set of hill was a deep river, and in it there were pink dolphins swimming. It was then I got on a boat with Emma and a few other people. We went down a straight canal, and I noticed the water was thick with brown mud. The air was almost too hot on this strange boat ride… but then, all of the sudden our faces were pelted with flurries of snow. It was all around, the snow, soft, but very thick. It blew around into spirals… it was so cool on my face and I suddenly felt so happy. Somebody told me the muddy water made the snow… and I though to myself how odd that was, that something as odd as a tanned muddy river could make something so beautiful and refreshing.
