Just a quick plug for my friend Scott Jorgensen, who is a new Salon blogger--his site, Base Camp, can be found regularly by clicking on the link on the right.  He's a fine writer, a humanitarian, a well-known Stud, and a one-time runner up in the Himalayan games.  I'll be removing his submissions from this site forthwith, as they can be found over in the Camp. 1:45:14 PM    Let's hear it.
