Tom Friedman's editorial in the NYT today sums up my opinion of the war almost exactly.  His point is that the idea behind an attack on Iraq--a democratic model for the Middle East--is bold and valuable.  But the Bush Administration has done nothing right in the run-up to the war, and he has no faith that they'll carry it off right.  The last sentence: "I am terribly worried that Mr. Bush has told us the right thing to do, but won't be able to do it right."

Exactly.
