Catching Up
Is the worm-imposed exile over? Hard to say-Salon blogs are still sort of skittish as it relates to posting updates. There are rumbings in the Salon blog community about poor customer service from Salon and RadioUserland. I know for a fact that some people are testing out other blog software.
As for Pipeline, Salon is the place to be until further notice. I'm used to the software, and I don't find that there are all that many differences between the various softwares. The last week has been frustrating, for sure, but if it's truly behind us I am ready to move on. Bygones, as they say. But if this happens again, let's just say I have a backup plan in place. But hopefully, it won't come to that anytime soon. The only way I want to leave Salon is if I'm in the position to do my own page, and I don't see that on the near horizon.
Here are some of the things Pipeline has been following in the last week or so...
Oh, wait. I was going to write about Ted Williams here, and I had uploaded a picture of Teddy Ballgame. But I see that the picture won't go through.
It seems our problems are not yet solved. How long do I wait for this nonsense to end? I'm giving them till Monday, August 25. And then I'll reevaluate.
