Broncos/Raiders
The Seer missed badly on last night's game, thinking that the Raiders would somehow keep the game within the 5 point spread. The Seer recognized previously that the Raiders were an aging unit that wasn't likely to get back to their previous Super Bowl glory, but thought that the rivalry with the Broncos might wake them from their slumber. After all, there is talent there. Oodles of talent.
And, of course, the Seer was skeptical of the Broncos, and Jake the Fake Plummer. After all, the Broncos had gotten fat beating up the likes of the Bengals and the Chargers. How good were they, really?
Turns out, pretty good. The Broncos put a MNF humiliation on the Raiders, bolting to a 31-0 lead before cruising home with a 31-10 win. The Seer is now 16-14 on the season, for a 53.5% pace.
Next week is a tough one, with lots of road favorites. In other words, the kind of week that a serious wagerer might skip out on. But since this is all in good fun, the Seer doesn't take any time off, and will publish picks later in the week.
