What an effort by the Wolves last night in Utah.  Three times in a row in the first half, Garnett exploits his height advantage over Matt Harpring for easy cores down low.  So what do the Wolves do?  They wait till midway through the fourth to go back to Garnett on the block, and not once after that.  Sure, the Jazz started to double Garnett.  But wouldn't you want to force the Jazz to double?  Why let the fear of a double-team take your best offensive player out of the game.

I thought perhaps it was the presence of Hudson that wasn't allowing the Wolves to get the ball down low, but they didn't try to get Garnett down low when Strickland was in the game, either.  Bad omen for the first game of a rough trip, a team that the Wolves have to feel they should beat.
