Another Lesson Learned

The Rams were favored by 12 over the Falcons for a damn good reason.  Why did I think Atlanta would cover that?  I had seen Doug Johnson and the Falcons' excreble secondary against the Vikings two weeks ago, and they were beyond awful.  Dan Reeves' team is in full meltdown, and I doubt that even Michael Vick will save their season (though he sure could have saved last night's MNF broadcast).

I hadn't had a chance to watch much of Marc Bulger or Lamar Gordon.  Bulger's the real deal; that guy's got a live arm and the quickest release I've seen in a long time.  It's like he's one of those football throwing machines they use in practice.  And Gordon looked suspiciously like a young Marshall Faulk.  Duly noted by the Seer, who is now 39-30, good for 56.5%.  Baby steps.
