Bionicle Bean Soup

To heck with the Senate, from now on we’re calling our Bean Soup "Bionicle Bean Soup".  This morning in the kitchen Kipp assembled the ingredients.  He picked out the floaty beans, added the water, the pinches of thyme, the bay leaf, the carrots, celery, onions and garlic.

Then he stirred it all up with his Bionicle guy when my back was turned.

Having children in the kitchen cooking with me is something I'm prepared to embrace.  Bring it on!  Can it possibly get any messier than it already is?

For her usual brilliance, this time on being in the kitchen with children, check out Nigella's Lawson's latest in the New York Times.

Muesli Malnutrition is definitely not a problem here at the Bungalow.
