One for the "Why Couldn't  I Have Thought of That Myself" file:

Tonight I made spaghetti with homemade sauce, the usual version from Christopher Kimball's Yellow Farmhouse Cookbook.  As I was straining the pasta some newly acquired tid-bit on how to keep the spaghetti from sticking together (my spaghetti always sticks!) was rattling around in my brain.  But what was it?  What was it?  And where had I read it?  Ah, yes:

1.  Use plenty of water
2.  Don't shake the strained spaghetti around so much. . .and, most importantly. . .
3. Take a little bit, a spoonful or two of the sauce you have prepared and mix it right in with the just-strained spaghetti.

That's it.

So I remembered the "trick", but still cannot remember where I read it and I hate not being able to give credit where credit is due.
