My blog is definitely not burning--
So I made this rice pudding for the international event known as Is My Blog Burning?--but evidently I forgot to sign up or sign on or throw my chef's hat into the ring. Ah, well. It doesn't matter. I have a confession to make: I don't deserve any recognition for a rice pudding that I whipped together without checking beforehand if I had the right ingredients on hand. When I got to the point of adding the milk, I cursed, because there was no milk of any variety to be found on the premises. I scrounged through the refrigerator and ended up using a pint of rancid cream. So. . .although this might look like a nice pudding, it was all for show and ended up, in its entirety, in the garbage.
