I’ve been grumbling about the need for a little warmth and sunshine for the past three months, but haven’t managed to get myself to a place where the two co-exist.    But today, Minnesota had an unexpected burst of both, temperatures soaring up to sixty degrees, sprouting mud underfoot everywhere.   I took Seneca, the border collie, out to a deserted country road overlooking the Mississippi valley and I opened up the back hatch of the car, sat down and sunned my face, head, and forearms while Senny ran his head off chasing a rubber ball, getting thoroughly soaked and muddy in the process.  He was loving life.  And I wasn’t minding it. comment []10:08:37 PM
