The Velveteen Rabbi
This site has been interesting me recently. The woman who writes "The Velveteen Rabbi" is exploring Judaism in the way I hope I am exploring Christianity. Trying to keep the sharp edges of my mind from being dulled. Not hiding from reality, but confessing weakness always. And, in weakness and humility, finding a willingness to submit to something larger than myself.
Go and enjoy, but be prepared to be challenged and moved by her sincere and honest voice. Here is a good example of what I am talking about.
