Essay Removed I removed an essay that I posted on Saturday called "Personal Space." The comments that came in response to it were so painful to read that I had to remove the whole essay. I felt sick to my stomach when I realized how some people interpreted what I wrote. It didn't seem like a bad thing when I wrote it. I've never backed off anything I've said here. This is the first time I've ever done this. But I didn't want to feel bad while I was out of town, and I was starting to get real depressed over the whole damn thing. Time Away Time away is a good thing when you can get it. I usually cannot. But I'm going to Austin today to spend some time with a group of ministers and a couple of other quirky sorts. It's a retreat you might say. No agenda but conversation and relationships. Two nights and many hours of nothing but creative connections. Food for the soul.
