Of Head Injuries and Frogs
My brother's name is Hugh. He lives in Dallas with his wife and daughter, where he teaches at a local elementary school. Hugh and I have been very close since the day I left for college. Before that we fought a lot and had a hard time finding anything in common. Now we talk almost every week and cherish whatever time we have together.
Part of my present passion for our friendship comes from the time when we almost lost him.
I dropped by Hugh's blog today and saw a couple of posts that I'd like to point you to. He writes about living with his head injury here. And here he tells a funny story about the time he and I tried to rescue, oh, maybe a thousand tiny frogs from the pond across the street.
