Hooray for James!  (Reality TV non-fans may want to turn away)

Yes, the Bravo show "Boy Meets Boy" has concluded, and the leading man picked the best mate!  Yay!  Well, of the three that remained, anyway - there was someone booted off earlier that I hoped he'd pick.  But all in all, what a cute, cute show.  Of course Andra was annoying once she heard about the twist - after that, it was all about her.  How it was her fault he was on the show, she was "forcing" specific guys on him, etc.  I probably would've reacted the same, though - because I would have felt so completely embarrassed, that it really would have felt like all the cameras were on me.  Doesn't make it less annoying, though.

I may have to watch the BmB marathon on Sunday, though, to see if I can tell how badly the producers influenced the outcome.  I know that's what all that "okay, you have to boot out three people, but they have to be from these three subgroups".  I bet in retrospect, there is at least one group with all gay guys and another group with all straight guys.  Oops, I probably shouldn't say this out loud; it'll either spoil it for some people, or else the producers will decide not to show the marathon.

Of course the other reality TV news is the drug-hazed past of a couple of the Survivor 7: Pearl Islands contestants.  I mean, [paraphrased] "where can I buy meth and can I trade nekkid pictures of myself for it instead of money?"  You'd think that someone on the production staff would've heard of both Google and newsgroups!  Or that a computer-savvy meth-slut would know how to search for incriminating evidence before going on the show!  Of course, the producers admit to knowing about the drunken driving arrest, so obviously they're not too concerned about the pasts of these characters.
