That Gray Davis sure knows how to talk to his constituents
So Gray Davis, that charming probably soon-to-be-ex governor, really knows how to make his constituents like him. In ragging on Schwarzenegger, he says that "No one should be elected governor unless they know how to pronounce the name of the state." And he says this in a state where 27% of the residents are foreign born. Does that sound like a wise thing to say? I don't think so. I'm sure he meant it as a joke, but seriously, haven't his handlers already thought ahead on this particular joke and told him to stay away from it? Sheesh!
