…Junior is addressing the nation tonight is NOT:

--because he is concerned about the threat of 9/11 anniversary attacks?

(Although he clearly does want to cash in on the patriot “bounce” of the anniversary of the grisly slaying of 3000 Americans—just as he plans to do by staging the GOP “nomination” convention in NYC as close as possible to the anniversary in 2004.)

--because he has a plan to reverse the disastrous economic policies of the past three years?

(Comment: ha ha)

--because he wants your permission to run up more debt on your credit card?

(Another 80 billion for the Iraq tar-baby on top of the 500 billion or so he ran as a deficit this year alone—that’s roughly $2000 per man, woman and child. Count your family members and multiply by two grand – that’s the cost of having chimpy-nuts running the govt for just one year!?! (That’s not counting all the dead and maimed soldiers.) Of course, since not every man woman and child earns a paycheck--and a lot of folks will be retiring soon-- that means that debt, and don’t forget the interest, will all be piled on the backs of the shrinking number of wage earners for years to come.)

Nope, the real reason is right here: “Bush Numbers Hit New Low”

(At least Clinton only used polls to find out what the people wanted and craft policy accordingly – Junior uses them in order to disguise the same damn policies he’s been ramming down our throats all along… well, that and to promote his “persona.” I’d bet that if any of the folks in tvland actually knew the real Dubya – the thin-skinned, vindictive, incurious brat of privilege—they wouldn’t be to damn eager to ‘share a beer” with him.)

“President Bush is supporting Arnold but a lot of Republicans are not, because he is actually quite liberal. Karl Rove said if his father wasn't a Nazi, he wouldn't have any credibility with conservatives at all.” --Bill Maher
