The past day or so have been full of tremendous satisfactions ... no, not military ones ...media ones ...
- The nauseating, self-promoting hack and windbag Geraldo Rivera being given the bums' rush by the 101st Airborne
- The self-satisfied, unemployed Peter Arnett -- the Iraqi's tame publicist in Desert Storm -- being fired by NBC for daring to appear of Iraqi TV, virtually supporting the regime, with half-baked theories -- based on no reporting -- about the US war plans and their failure
- The repeated deflations of the press corps in DC, Doha and elsewhere by CentCom, the Pentagon et al. The endless, repetitive witless questions about "not enough troops," "a pause," "why isn't it over?" "did you change your plans," etc. are like a mantra by retarded children...
- The look of frustration and stupidity on Wolf Blitzer's face yesterday lunchtime as he tried his tired old questions on Gen. Myers, who wasn't having any of it, and Myers demolished every one
- Seeing Lou Dobbs wake up upscreen last night and say "What is all this stuff about a pause? Don't armies stop to refuel, sleep, and such?" Good for you!And tell the other suckers, Lou. And especially that droning bastard from the NYT, who has said the same things every night for the past eight days.
