Alleluia! She is Risen!

My friend, Cindy, died at home this morning at 4:45.  She went peacefully, with her family around her and her beloved rubber chicken in her hand.  Over the past three weeks there has been much laughter and love around her bed.  When the time comes, this is the way I want to do it.

It has been a very intense and very long Holy Week and Easter.  I will be preparing for her funeral the rest of the week and will be back to writing again soon after some R&R.  Easter blessings to you all.  Thank you for your prayers and your beautiful thoughts.  Please keep Rick, Robbie, and Beth in your hearts and give thanks for new life in all its glories.
