my baby cousin is in Iraq right now.  today on the radio everytime they mentioned the two marines so far killed in combat, i couldn't help but think of Nicholas. 

Nicholas' words to his father before the war started:

I'm about 30 miles south of the Iraqi boarder.  when the shit hits the fan, i'll be right in the middle of it.
