here it is!
i finished! yay me. i had so much fun doing this project :)
The 26 Things International Photographic Scavenger Hunt in July 2003 has been a great success with over 60,000 hits in just over 6 weeks and over 800 interested parties. We've been mentioned over hundreds of websites and have inspired other internet groups to do their own scavenger hunts.

updated:
i found the setlist for the show. i have to say, when they broke into prince's "Kiss" in the middle of Voodoo Lady, i about died. then, in the encore, they sang "Purple Rain" and i about died again! totally cool on their part to give a little tribute to Prince on the stage that started it all for him! they played for almost three hours and ooh boy, it was hot hot hot in the club. everyone was drenched with sweat. tonight is the all-ages show, i'd love to go but greg and i decided to be fiscially responsible (we are really trying! san fran goal and all)

new purchase
greg and i bought the first season of Twin Peaks. we've watched half of the season so far. i just love this series. i would faithfully watch each week. i checked out The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer after the show ended. i was 15 years old when the show premiered. wow, how young does 15 sound now? anyway, what a great show. i loved it as a teenager and i love it as an adult (yikes, did i just call myself an adult?!?)

monday is the big day, i'll be managing the pub/restaurant all alone! i can't believe how this has fallen into my lap. me, the boss. how funny is that?? i'm not too nervous, the staff is great and the restaurant pretty much runs itself. i just hope nothing out of the ordinary happens on monday! *knocks on wood*

i finally got me some road rash errr...sidewalk rash rather. last night, biking home drunk, i wiped out in front of the apartment building next door, do'h!

bike shop vs bike studio
after experiencing snotty and condesending behavior from a sales guy at penn cycle, greg and i wanted to find a better bike shop. our prayers were answered one day when we left work and found stapled to our bikes a little slip of paper. a new bike shop! yay :) wednesday we headed over to one on one bicylce studio (website not live yet) and chatted with the owner for about an hour. he's great, the bike studio is great (a little grungy, very down home feeling) and the best thing is that we both can get our bikes worked on for an extremely reasonable price and if either of us will be out a bike over a day, he will -loan- a bike to us since our bikes are our daily drivers (we commute with 'em.) how cool is that? i also love the idea of boycotting snotty penn cycle and helping support this new studio.

can't sleep
damn the mountain dew and damn my brain for being so active! and what is on my mind tonight? work! argh! i was asked if i'd take on more responsibility and i actually said yes. i just hope i can do it! it is good experience and will only help me find work in san francisco (well, i hope so anyway.) sigh. it's like i know deep down that i'll be fine, i can handle just about anything. but i can't seem to ignore the shit thoughts. ya know, the 'i can't possibly handle the pressure' and 'i'm gunna fail horribly and look like a fool' thoughts.

my new obsession
now that the wedding is over, i'm on to my next obsession (or goal but it always turns into an obsession...) to get our asses to San Francisco. I know we can do it! we have about 3 months to get money saved, find an apt and find jobs. WE CAN DO IT!

i've managed to take care of all the big name change dealies..like my license, my ssn card and my bank. now i just gotta get all my utilities and credit card stuff changed. what a fucking pain!
but i like my new name :) i just wish there was a simplier and easier way to change from the old to the new.
