monday's adventures
greg, myself, paul and his g/f nicole spent monday enjoying some of minneapolis' natural beauty. after a hearty breakfast at the uptown bar and grill we headed over to lake calhoun and rented some canoes for the afternoon. nothing like soaking up some sun on a sweltering hot day out on the lake.
after the canoeing goodness, we made our way to loring park to show nicole the black squirrels that hang out there. i've never seen black squirrels anywhere else, i think they may be only found in this particular park (please correct me if i'm wrong.) they are just so damn adorable! we had three of them eating peanuts from us but only one was brave enough to come up and eat them from our hands. some pigeons decided to come check out the free food too!
