Valentine’s Day is less than a week away, and I can’t wait. (Gag!) Remember the Valentine Days of childhood? The whole class would decorate shoe boxes with construction paper and cut out hearts. Then we would have the dilemma in the store of picking out the perfect valentines–would it be the cute kittens or the funny cartoon characters–and buying the little candy hearts to slip in each one. How we giggled over the valentines we received, and all
secretly wished for a ‘special’ message from the cute/popular one in the class. Remember the kid everyone picked on who didn’t get any valentines? That’s how it feels to be single and not dating during this holiday. It really sucks!
