Ministers protest gay marriage ban
Two Unitarian ministers in Massachusetts have announced that they will boycott signing all marriage licenses until the state lifts its prohibition on gay marriage. Rev. F. I want to look this good at 70!
Yoko Ono who turned 70 on Tuesday, has recorded a dance version of John’s final song. Yoko teamed up with the Pet Shop Boys for a dance remix of “Walking on Thin Ice”, the song that John was working on when he was shot. (more...)
On one of my trips to New York City I was able to catch Yoko in a benefit performance at the Knitting Factory. Also playing with her that night were her son Sean and Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth. The concert was inspired. Contrary to what you may have heard or experienced with some of her recordings, Yoko can sing.
And she can wow a crowd. It was a wonderfully memorable experience.
Happy Birthday Yoko! It is great to see you at 70....gives me hope for myself!
