Pizza Hut has withdrawn its advertising with the Miami based Spanish language
station Univisión over anti-gay sentiment that was expressed during its
talk show, Casos de Familia. The show featured ‘reparative therapy’,
the treatment used by Love Won Out to ‘cure’ homosexuality. During
the show, hostess Judith Grace suggested that people are homosexual because they
were abused or raped as children. In a statement issued when Pizza Hut pulled
their advertising from the station, Patti Sullivan said, "We would never
endorse those kinds of comments. It's not who we are." (more...)
If you are not familiar with the Love Won Out ‘treatment’, The
Guardian has a fairly complete article about the religious, quasi-psychological
'therapy'. In what reminds me of the camp scenes in the movie “But I’m

teenagers), that they can be ‘cured’ by learning how to control
their behavior and redirect their feelings. (more...)

Suarez Hospital in San Pablo, Mexico. "This case represents an unusual
and extraordinary decision by a woman in labor who, unable to deliver herself
spontaneously, and with no medical help or resources, decided to perform a
caesarean section upon herself," (more...)
