Friday’s Favorite Five
Oh my.......!! I discovered I
am Eating My Husband’s Soul this week. I laughed, I roared, I made loud
exclamations at no one in particular, and in fact acted just like I expect that
the author, Katy, would like me to! She can turn a phrase, adulterate a word,
and make you go ‘huh?’ all in the span on one sentence. Check her

Two women, two viewpoints. Baghdad
Burning, the blog of a 24 year old Iraq woman, is a heart-breaking read.
War and occupation are every bit as terrible (and psychologically damaging)
as the movies and books show. It breaks my heart to be part of a country that
is inflicting such suffering–is the ‘reason’ worth it?
Reporting from the other side of the coin is the blog
of a female soldier in Iraq, A View from a Broad. All I can say is that I’m
