Wednesday Science Tidbits
It has been awhile since I have posted any science goodies, but during my catch-up reading last night, several articles caught my attention and made me go hmmmm....

Astronomers have found a dim galaxy that seems to be held together with elusive dark matter. It has been previously theorized that if dark matter does exist, that there would have to be quite a few ‘dark matter’ galaxies. This one could be the first discovered.

The newest research seems to indicate that the dinosaurs died out almost immediately after an asteroid impact. Any organisms that were not in the ocean or burrowed underground would have died within "minutes to hours," according to the report.

Contrary to what Detroit would like us to believe, bigger is not necessarily better. Check out the pictures of a 40 mph front impact crash test of a mini Cooper and a Ford F150.

And now I am off to start my birthday celebration.......
