I’m baaaacccckkk!!
I had a wonderful (if roller-coasterish) four-day birthday celebration, all of
which made me feel a few years younger and ready to tackle my next year. And,
I must have looked much, much younger....the day after my birthday I was carded!
That hasn’t happened to me in quite some time. ...did I laugh!! What a birthday
present!
I took some time off from work so that I would be able to have a proper balance
of party and solitude. It worked. I also had plenty of time to catch up with
out of town friends in several hour long conversations. It was all good. On
Saturday The Pilot took me out to celebrate. To our surprise, the local band
playing that night was so tight that we stayed until closing. Hats off to Bazzy
and Roger Houston....we
thoroughly enjoyed the show and look forward to catching them again.

The Pilot’s dad is more of a computer geek than I am, and loves to cull
out the best jokes going around and send them to me. Here’s one I just
