How does your area rate?
Looking for an area of the country that is more gay than where you are? Want
to know how your community ranks in number of gay couples? Gay Demographics
has taken the 2000 census reports and created some fairly comprehensive tables
and charts. My
state (Florida) ranks 4th in the nation for gay/lesbian couples (with .51% same
sex couples). You can also sort the statistics by county, zip code, or congressional
district. Even though the statistics are a few years old and count couples only,
this is interesting. I think I need to move to Gainesville or Fort Lauderdale!
