What to say?
I am having a bit of a blogger’s block. I don’t know if it is because
of the massive amounts of work-stuff and fun-stuff that needs to be read and attended
to, or if it is that my creative efforts are being drained by trying to get 2
Grrlz up and running, or if it is a reaction to the large amount of political
buzz flying around. I know that lately politics has been eliciting a huge sigh
from me, and I find myself reading or listening to music instead of checking out
the news. Don’t get me wrong, I have been known to launch into a political
rant or two, but for some reason lately it feels like it has all been said–over,
and over and over. (Sigh!) See what I mean?
This weekend The Pilot and I will be camping on a local Florida beach. The
vision is calling to me of a couple days of sun, sand, waves and little drinks
with fruit garnish! And, I’m hoping for a few sights like this--
On Sunday, to celebrate the 4th I plan to avoid all forms of media and instead
leisurely watch the waves, seagulls and women.....in celebration of America’s
freedom and its beauty!
