Hanging on for the weekend....
Work has been what I call ‘full tilt boogie’ for the past few weeks.
Those of you in education are nodding in agreement with me.....the end of the
school year is always like this. Luckily, our last large student event is this
week, so I am really looking forward to this weekend–I will be able to reclaim my life
and cut my work back to 40 hours a week! And it is not a week too soon. The weather
has been absolutely Florida beautiful. I am looking forward to enjoying some outside
time!

but find it difficult at times to fit it into the rest of my life (sigh!). But
there has to be more women who have something to say....

A recent study done by the Karolinska Institute in Sweden has shown that gay
men's brains respond differently from those of heterosexual males when exposed
to pheromones....their brains responded more like those of women when the men
sniffed a chemical from the male hormone testosterone
"It is one more piece of evidence ... that is showing that sexual orientation
is not all learned," said Sandra Witelson, an expert on brain anatomy
and sexual orientation at the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine at McMaster

This is very interesting, and I am sure that if this study was done with lesbians,
the results would be similar.
