Friday’s Favorite Five
Longtime readers know that I love sites with paper toys ready to print, cut, fold,
and glue. This site features gothic
paper toys–cemeteries, haunted houses, ghouls and ghosties. Pretty cool!
It’s been awhile since I have posted a link to a blog that I have found
truly entertaining. Sarsparilla’s
postings don’t easily fit into any category. She’s literary in the
sense of a true writer, edgy, and sometimes slightly disturbing. Check out her
blog....see if she hooks you too.
Two quizzes to take: What is your millionaire
potential? (Mine is in the top group....okay–I’m ready–give
me my million!), and a Chakra
test to find out how open each of your seven chakras is (mine are all open
except for an ‘over-active’ throat–I bet this isn’t
all that unusual for a blogger!)
It wouldn’t be a Friday Five if I didn’t include at least one game!
In Twin
Spin you swing linked balls around to remove balls and other objects. It’s
a simple game, but challenging enough that it took up much of my lunch break
on Wednesday. Enjoy!
A few months ago I mentioned Post
Secret on the Friday Five (this is the public art project where people send
in a postcard of a personal secret). This week, I was curious how the project
had progressed since the last time I visited. The amount of postcards had doubled
since my last visit, and I was immediately caught up (again!) in the fragments
of other’s lives...some easy to relate to, others more difficult. Some
secrets border on silly, but many confess real pain. I am currently trying to
decide if I have a secret to share. Hmmm....
