Despite the bad weather and all the fog near the coast, I can finally see my home land.

Next I'll see the islands of Sisargas and then the Tower of Hercules.

Yup. Believe it or not, I think I can smell Spain from here.

I should be there Tuesday night and I cannot wait to tell my friends all about my adventures.

Where did all the good weather go?
A donde se fue el buen tiempo?

The seas are rough and the winds strong. Almost, reminding us that we are still in the Ocean.
Los mares están agitados y los vientos fuertes. Casi, como recordándonos que todavía estamos en el Océano.

I just have to be a good sailboat and keep going ahead, one wave at a time.
Yo solo tengo que seguir siendo un buen velero y continuar hacia delante, de ola en ola.

BALLENAS! BALLENAS!

Friday morning I swam with about a dozen whales.
El viernes por la mañana nadé con una docena de ballenas.

They were beautiful. They didn't talk much. They just kept blowing water from a hole on their heads, how strange.
Eran bellas, no hablaron mucho, Solo botaban agua por un hueco en sus cabezas, que extraño.

The whales were very peaceful and it was fun to be near them. A small one even came really close to me and swam underneath me.
Las ballenas estaban muy pacificas y fue muy divertido estar cerca de ellas. Una pequeña se me acerco y nado por debajo de mí.

There is absolutely no wind right now.

I almost forgot. It took me 16 and half days to get from Newport to the Azores.
Ya casi se me olvida. Me tomó 16 días y medio llegar de Newport a las Azores.

He, he, he... Today I did a painting on the cement dock.
Ha, ha, ha... Hoy pinté un dibujo en el cemento del puerto.

It was to celebrate our visit here to the Azores. It has a painting of me, though I must say I look better in person. It also has the initial of the three people aboard: Andrés (Abuelo), Andrés, and José Manuel.
Era para celebrar nuestra visita a las Azores. Tiene un dibujo de mí, aunque que tengo que decir que soy mejor parecido. También tiene las iniciales de las tres personas abordo: Andrés (Abuelo), Andrés, y José Manuel.
