Oh So Disappointed

What in the world are the Jamburu tribe members thinking?

I just finished watching last night’s Survivor.  I tried to stay up and watch it, but the President’s press conference put me to sleep.  Just one word on that topic – inflection.

Anyway, I didn’t get to comment on last week’s Survivor so let me say, I started the night terribly disappointed.  Certain members of the Jamburu tribe talked about using their bodies to distract the men for an advantage.  Here I thought the female gender had moved further along the evolutionary table.  Perhaps not everyone.

After last night’s episode, I’m wondering what game some of the women are playing.  Last night, Joanna was voted off in spite of the whining pleas made by Shawna.  Shawna decided Survivor was too hard and rather than helping herself, she asked to get voted off.

Some women found Joanna a threat to their own long term survival.  And they are possibly right.  She’s strong and athletic.  She’s also annoying and grates on the nerves.  But, that just means they should vote her off closer to the expected merge.

Now I can look forward to watching Shawna prattle on about how hard it is there.  Let’s hope for her being voted off next week, yes?
