Pathetic Individuals               I don’t fool myself that everyone is able to live their lives by the credo of “Do unto others as you’d have done to you”.  People just really don’t care how they treat the people around them.  The reasons for the mistreatment are wide and varied.             I had one particular manager at what is now called Bank of India.  He would degrade and demean just to make himself feel better.  This is a typical reason behind many bullies and mean-spirited people.  Their own self-esteem and self-confidence are so low that they need to beat on other people to feel good.             At first, you may find yourself hating people like this.  The people who are vindictive and power hungry are pitied by me more than despised.  To be so insecure with your own person and intelligence to lie and back stab and step on people to look better is just pathetic. 12:10:27 PM    comment []  trackback []
