A Probably Futile Gesture…But…

Send an e-mail to every single Democrat you know on the West Coast, and every pro-Kerry Republican. Urge them to vote even if the Networks call the election before the polls are closed where they are.

God forbid Kerry should lose! But even if the electoral college falls to Bush it is important that Kerry win the popular vote to make it clear that that the regime is a minority government.

In The Meantime…

Take Heart. Democrats are turning out the vote. Here in the Tucson metro area we are represented by 6 state legislative districts. My own is LD 26, and all day volunteers have been streaming into 3 different phone bank locations, calling and recalling until every Democrat is contacted. The effort will continue tomorrow; it will continue on election day.

It is happening all over Tucson. It’s happening all over Arizona. I hope it’s happening where you are. Please take tomorrow and Tuesday off and put your shoulders to the wheel!
